Doctor in Environmental psychology
I do research and teach sustainable design and lighting to architecture students at Lund University. My PhD research aimed to increase understanding of how residents use their lighting from natural and fabricated light sources, what they want from it and when they do not want it. Another aim was to evaluate a personalised home lighting system in terms of comfort and intention to use the system.
My general research interests concern the understanding of user experience and behaviour in home environments.
Currently, I am involved in a project examining light-related health and wellbeing of older residents living in ordinary homes.
I am also a practising architect with focus on eco-friendly housing and sustainable urban planning.
